I-Tips vs MicroLinks
Textured Hair Talk
Microlinks are the new go to healthy hair extensions for black women. But, what’s the difference between I-Tips vs Wefts I get this question all the time. Even though the term Microlink is interchangeable between the two. Here’s a breakdown of the two most popular techniques.
I-Tips are strands of hair glued together at the tip like a shoe string with kertain. And attach to strains of hair using a microbead.
  • Best for medium to thick hair, at least 10” long, healthy hair and edges.
  • Longevity -

  • Hair Extension Amount - 150-200 I-Tips average | 250-300 for really full hair.
  • Benefits, healthy hair growth when properly maintained.
  • Maintenance is required.
